Lucas was a young boy who lived in a big city. He was twelve years old and loved adventure. One day, his parents told him some exciting news: they were going on a summer vacation to the countryside!
Lucas was very happy. He had never been to the countryside before. He packed his bag with clothes, a camera, and his favorite book.
The next morning, they drove for many hours until they reached a small village. Lucas saw green fields, tall trees, and blue skies. The air was fresh, and the village was very quiet.
They stayed in a small house with a big garden. Lucas's room had a window that looked out at the mountains. He thought it was the most beautiful place he had ever seen.
Every day, Lucas explored the countryside. He went for walks in the forest, played by the river, and took many pictures with his camera. He saw cows, sheep, and horses. He even made friends with a dog named Max.
One day, Lucas's parents took him to a lake. Lucas swam in the lake and had a picnic by the shore. He ate sandwiches, fruits, and cookies. He thought the food tasted better in the open air.
In the evenings, Lucas and his family sat by the fireplace and told stories. Lucas’s dad told him stories about when he was a boy. Lucas loved listening to these stories.
The weeks passed quickly, and soon it was time to go back to the city. Lucas felt a little sad, but he was also happy because he had many wonderful memories.
On the last day, Lucas took one last walk in the forest. He sat by the river and listened to the birds singing. He knew he would never forget this special summer vacation.
When they returned to the city, Lucas showed his friends all the pictures he had taken. He told them about his adventures and the fun he had in the countryside. Lucas couldn’t wait for his next summer vacation.
And so, Lucas's summer vacation ended, but the memories stayed with him forever.
